Ikasucon announces 2010 dates

Anime convention returns to Fort Wayne, Indiana

FORT WAYNE, IN - September 18, 2009 - Ikasucon, an annual Japanese animation and popular culture convention, announced that they will be returning to the Grand Wayne Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana for their eighth year.

Ikasucon will be held from July 16 to July 18, 2010. The Grand Wayne Center will play host to the convention for the fourth consecutive year. Previously, Ikasucon was held in Cincinnati, Ohio from 2003 to 2006.

"We are excited to return to Fort Wayne," says Dustin Riley, Relations Director. "Ikasucon has strong ties with the local community, and many of our most loyal attendees and staff members come from the northwest Indiana region."

ABOUT IKASUCON: Ikasucon ( is Indiana‚s premier Japanese animation and pop-culture convention. Ikasucon has been part of the midwest‚s anime fandom since its first annual event in 2003. Now in its eighth year and its fourth in Fort Wayne, Ikasucon draws over 1,000 fans of anime, gaming, and cosplay to northeastern Indiana each summer.
