Providence Anime Conference announces new guest Christopher Ayres

Veteran voice actor to present 'Mock Combat for Cosplay' workshop

PROVIDENCE, July 17, 2008 – Providence Anime Conference (PAC) adds another anime industry veteran to its lineup with the announcement of new special guest Christopher Ayres. A noted voice actor and ADR director, Chris Ayres has acted professionally since the age of 6 and is the voice behind a multitude of anime characters; notable roles include Kei Kouron in Gantz, Suitengu in Speed Grapher, Von Kampher in Trinity Blood, Hayashimizu in Full Metal Panic Fummofu, Nakamaru in Maburaho, and many more. As an ADR director of ADV Films, he has worked on The Nerima Daikon Brothers, Xenosaga: The Animation, and Magikano. He is also a professional fight director who will be bringing his popular "Mock Combat for Cosplay" workshop to PAC. Chris Ayres joins previously announced PAC guests Kevin McKeever (Harmony Gold), Adam Sheehan (FUNimation), Tom Wayland (TripWire Productions), and David Williams (ADV Films) for a unique combination of industry insiders. As the first anime convention exclusively for attendees 21 and up, PAC is committed to providing insight into the business behind the entertainment along with an enjoyable anime convention experience.
