Florida Supercon announces new location and first guests
Fort Lauderdale, FL -Florida Supercon is back and bigger than ever! Get ready for the largest multi-genre convention in South Florida History as Florida Supercon moves to it's new "super-sized" location, The Hyatt Regency Bonaventure Resort in Weston, FL.
Florida Supercon is a convention for comic book, anime, animation, sci-fi, fantasy and manga fans taking place May 23 - 25, 2008 at The Hyatt Regency Bonaventure Resort in Weston, FL. (Just outside of Fort Lauderdale). The show will include celebrity guests, artists, writers, vendors, industry guests, Q&A's, parties, costume contests, anime programming, manga, cosplay, workshops, panels, cosplay photoshoots and more! Florida Supercon is proud to announce the initial 20 guests signed for FSC 3.
- James and Oliver Phelps: Harry Potter superstars! James and Oliver are best known for their roles as Fred and George Weasly.
- Stanislav Ianevski: Harry Potter superstar! Stanislav is best known for his role as Viktor Krum, as well as starring in Hostel 2.
- Dan Slott: Superstar Comic Book writer. Dan's credits include She Hulk, Avengers: The Initiative, Ren & Stimpy, and is the new writer of The Amazing Spider-Man.
- Grey Delisle: Superstar Voice Actress. Grey is well known for her work in Avatar: The Last Airbender (Princess Azula), The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy (Mandy), Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi (Yumi), Scooby Doo (Daphne), Star Wars: Clone Wars (Padme Amidala), Ultimate Avengers (The Wasp) and The Fantastic Four (Invisible Woman).
- Kyle Baker: Superstar Cartoonist. Credits include: Plastic Man, Why I Hate Saturn, You Are Here, Truth and King David.
- Richard Epcar: Superstar Voice Actor. Ghost in the Shell (Batou), Robotech (Ben Dixon, Lunk), Transformers: Robots in Disguise (Armorhide), Bleach (Zangetsu, Mr. Kagine), Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and more!

The new location for FSC is The Hyatt Regency Bonaventure Resort, 250 Raquest Club Road, Weston FL. 33326. The Bonaventure has over 60,000 square feet of total convention space and is three times the size of Florida Supercon's last location. FRIDAY, MAY 23: 5:00PM - 2:00AM
SATURDAY, MAY 24: 11:00AM - 2:00AM
SUNDAY, MAY 25: 11:00AM - 6:00PM

General Admission (3) Day Weekend Pass
$15 if reserved before Jan. 23, 2008
$20 if reserved between Jan. 23 and March 23, 2008
$25 if reserved between March 23 and April 23, 2008
$30 if reserved between April 23 and May 22, 2008
General Admission at the door is $20 for a one day pass or $30 for the (3) day weekend.
VIP Tickets are available as well (Bronze: $65, Silver: $125, Gold $250 and Platinum: $1,000).
