Chibi-Pa holds fundraiser dinner and dance for Japan tsunami relief

South Florida Come Together To Fund Raise for Japan Earthquake Relief

West Palm Beach, FL - March 30, 2011- Local fans of Japanese animation and culture are joining together to host a charity dinner and dance with proceeds to benefit the Japan Earthquake Relief efforts. This charity event is being hosted by Chibi Pa Anime Festival, Palm Beach County's longest running anime convention. "Japan has given us so much through entertainment, arts, and technology, it's time for us to give back," says Jason Bailey, founder of Chibi Pa Anime Festival.

It will be held April 15, 2011, starting at 5pm. Located at the Palm Beach Gardens Marriott, the night offers a dinner, traditional Japanese musicians, nerd comedians, and much more. A silent auction being fueled by donations from the fan community and local businesses will be taking place. Later in the evening attendees can enjoy the night with music from DJ Paullyc spinning the best in house, top 40, dance, and much more.

The cost of the dinner is $22.00 dollars and must be paid for in advance via the Chibi-Pa website. To attend just the dance the cost is $10.00 and can be paid at the door. For more information please visit (http://www.chibipa.com/).
