Biography:
I'm best known for writing comic books, such as Agents of Atlas, X-Men First Class, Batman '66, Aquaman, Future Quest, Thunderbolts and more. Yet for years I made a living drawing stories, as well as commercial art and storyboards for tv. Until someone decides to make my Wikipedia entry somewhat accurate, you can read me going in depth on that history in some very thorough interviews like this Comics Reporter talk with Tom Spurgeon. This recent discussion with Jeffery Klaehn at The Journal of Graphic Novels and Comics covers almost everything.

I live in Portland, Oregon where I'm part of the country's largest collective of comics creators, Helioscope. I'm making an effort to do more appearances outside of the Pacific Northwest, so check in for news in case I visit a bookstore or library near you.
