Biography:
Steve Lieber's comics and illustrations have been published by DC, Marvel, Dark Horse, Image Comics, Valiant, Dupuis, Scholastic, Penguin, and many others, on properties like Batman, Superman, Road to Perdition, Spider-man, Whiteout, and more. His various projects have received eleven Eisner Award nominations, with a win for Whiteout: Melt, and two wins for Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen. Jimmy Olsen also won a Ringo Award and was nominated for a Harvey Award. Whiteout was made into a feature film at Warner Bros. starring Kate Beckinsale. Steve's clients as a commercial artist include Microsoft, The Gap, UPS, HP, The Oregon Lottery, GE, Adidas, Nike, and Dove. He's been a featured guest of international comic art festivals in the USA, Canada, France, Algeria, Mexico, and Spain. Steve was a monthly columnist for Comic Con International on the art, craft and business of comics, and is available to consult on these topics as well.
