Cary Nord is the award-winning artist of comic books and graphic novels such as Daredevil, X-Men, and Conan The Barbarian. Throughout his career Cary has drawn virtually every major character in comics, having worked on Superman, Wolverine, Mutant X, Ghost Rider, Spider-Man, Thor, and Star Wars. After a critically acclaimed run on the series X-O Manowar from Valiant Entertainment, Cary began working for DC Comics and is currently illustrating Wonder Woman.. In 2004, Cary was awarded the industry's top honour for his work on Conan the Barbarian, taking home the Will Eisner Comic Industry Award for Best Single Issue. Born in Calgary, Cary spent most of his youth drawing, and after attending the Alberta College of Art and Design he began to submit his work to Marvel and DC Comics. Diligence and hard work paid off, and work on single issues grew into longer fan-favourite stories with beloved characters.
