Biography:
West Yorkshire native Mandip Gill is a current member of the Doctor's TARDIS team on Doctor Who, having portrayed companion PC Yasmin Khan, "Yaz" to her friends, for the past three seasons opposite Jodie Whittaker's Thirteenth Doctor and alongside Bradley Walsh, Tosin Cole and John Bishop. After training at Park Lane College and the University of Central Lancashire, Gill first in multiple productions on the UK stage, before landing her first main role as Phoebe McQueen for four seasons on the long-running series Hollyoaks . She's also made appearances on Doctors, The Good Karma Hospital, Love Lies and Records, and Casualty. With her latest season of Doctor Who, Flux, having just ended transmission, Gill will continue to appear alongside Whitaker and Bishop throughout the upcoming Doctor Who specials in 2022
