Biography:
Jason has worked as an inker in the comics industry since 1989.
His early works include inking The Realm and the Realm/DeadWorld crossover title Realm of the Dead for Caliber Press, among a number of other projects including: Evil Ernie: Destroyer, Halloween II and Halloween III for Chaos! Comics, Leatherface for NorthStar; many titles for Malibu Comics/Ultraverse such as Rune, Mantra, Codename: FireArm, The Exiles and many more. The comic adaption of the Tim Burton/Johnny Depp film Sleepy Hollow, Batman: Haunted Gotham, and The Crusades� all of which were published by DC/Vertigo Comics. Also, Spider-Man: The Osborn Journal and other titles for Marvel Comics.
Long before The Walking Dead and Zombie craze that is everywhere these days, Jason was the penciller/inker for the early 1990s Arrow Comics title The Dead which was featured in Fangoria Magazine and was banned in Canada and the United Kingdom!
Jason was the artist on a children's book that was written by legendary Hall of Fame boxing Champion Marvelous Marvin Hagler and co-written by Dustin Warburton.
He also created the movie poster artwork for the upcoming documentary Power of Grayskull: The Definitive History of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. Jason was also the inker over legendary penciller Mike Zeck on a special variant cover edition of G.I. Joe.
He continues to work as inker with his long time collaborator, penciller Kyle Hotz on many books published by Kingstone Comics.
Both Kyle and Jason are also working as a team for Eibon Press as cover artists for their series of comic adaptations of movies by Italian horror legend, director Lucio Fulci. To date, they have created covers for Fulci's movies Zombie, Gates of Hell, The Beyond and House by the Cemetary as well as 80's cult movies LaserBlast and Maniac.
He was a contributor to the massive 400 page hardcover tribute book to the John Carpenter film The Thing. The book, titled The Thing:Art Book was published by Printed In Blood in 2017.
Jason's lastest work has been with the company Super 7 as inker on mini-comic covers and packaging artwork for the new toy line of Masters of the Universe Ultimates featuring He-Man, Skeletor, Teela, Ram-Man and Faker.
After finishing work on his second children's book, this time with I Dream of Jeannie star Barbara Eden, Jason began work on Eric Powell's title Spookhouse, a children's horror anthology published by Albatross Funnybooks.
Jason will have copies of most of his recently published works with him for sale at the show along with prints and t-shirts.
