Biography:
Scott Beatty is a comic book writer and author. He began his career in 1984 working as an artist for Condor Verlag and then he decided to write stories instead of drawing them. His first published work for DC Comics was in 1997 in the Batman Secret Files Special. He later worked on several titles but most prominently in the Countdown title.

He is also known for his works on comic book encyclopaedias based on DC Comics characters.
