Biography:
Steven Zakari is a New York born-and-raised comedian who emerged from the world of anime and gaming. He is quickly becoming the go-to host and emcee for pop culture, anime and gaming conventions. His high energy and quick wit instantly electrifies any event, whether it be a convention, a live show or even a quick run to Big Lots!

Steven gained international experience as the main stage host for the World Cosplay Summit at ANI:ME 2016 in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Afterward, Steven co-founded ANIME EXPO's late night show: AX AFTER HOURS, which he currently co-produces and hosts. The 12-show run has been a major hit for the multi-million dollar convention since 2017, featuring stand-up comedy, burlesque, musical performances and much more.

Zakari also performs his comedy and commentary at clubs across the country. He posts colorful new content on his Instagram constantly - everything from his original comedy videos to his standup sets.

As an advocate of living your truest self, Steven's goal is not just to make his audience laugh, but to encourage every person to feel comfortable being who they are, and celebrate their individuality.
