Biography:
Melissa McCommon (she/they) is a freelance illustrator and comic artist with over a decade of experience working with both self-published and internationally published comics.

While mostly known for her webcomic "Epic Chaos!", Melissa has also worked on a number of projects for companies, most notably providing coloring assistance for the middle school aged graphic novels by Svetlana Chmakova, including the Eisner nominated "Awkward", "Brave", "Crush", "Diary", "Enemies", and "The Weirn Books Vol. 1 Be Wary of the Silent Woods" .

Born and raised in California, Melissa has traveled the USA sharing her love of creating art and comics with whoever will stick around long enough to listen to her.

When not drawing, Melissa enjoys fruity teas, sugary snacks, and enjoying the company of her pets (a ball python named Precious, crested gecko named Pita, and a torti cat named Riley)
