Anime Convention
Animethon 9 is the ninth annual Japanese Animation (anime) festival held in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Animethon is the largest anime festival held in Western Canada, with yearly two-day attendance of over 3,000 people. The festival is designed to be a free event for attendees of all ages, from children to adults. We show a combination of older classics, brand-new material straight from Japan and popular favorites for both the new viewer and the hardcore anime fan.
We're also interested in making Edmonton a better place. While attendance is free, we ask that all attendees bring a donation for the Edmonton Food Bank, to help the less fortunate among us when they are in need.
We look forward to seeing you at the ninth Animethon Japanese Animation Festival!
