News for Castle Point Anime Convention 2010:

Castle Point Anime Convention announces 2010 date

Castle Point Anime Convention, the student-run anime con in Hoboken, New Jersey, has announced that next year's convention will be taking place Sunday, April 11, 2010. The con will once again be located at Stevens Institute of Technology, at Castle Point along the Hudson River.

About Castle Point Anime Convention: CPAC is a student-run anime convention which is held every year at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey. Since its inception in 2008, CPAC has attracted attendants from all over the New York/New Jersey region.

In the past, comedian Uncle Yo, composer Andy Brick, and musicians PEELANDER-Z, Nullsleep, and BitShifter have all made an appearance at CPAC. Last year, CPAC welcomed voice actor Bill Rogers and television producer/director Dekker Dreyer as special guests. As well, famous nerdcore hip-hop artist MC Frontalot and 8-bit artists Bit Shifter and Bubblyfish performed for the attendants at the end of the night. The convention drew a crowd of over 1000 people last year from the New Jersey/New York area.
