News for Castle Point Anime Convention 2008:

Registration cap announced for Castle Point Anime Convention

HOBOKEN, NEW JERSEY - March 26, 2008 - The Stevens Anime Club announces registration cap and deadline for non-Stevens Community attendees of the Castle Point Anime Convention, electronic registration and payment, new guest comedian Uncle Yo, and the debut of bimonthly magazine @domain.

The registration cap for non-Stevens community attendees (anybody who is not a Stevens student, staff or faculty member, or alumni) of the Castle Point Anime Convention (CPAC) is limited to 600 people. Be sure to register to guarantee your spot!

Electronic registration and payment is now available on the Castle Point Anime Convention website! Information for registration via snail mail is also available on the CPAC website. Electronic payment is currently available via PayPal for CPAC Registration, Program Guide Advertisements, and for the Artist's Alley registration. Electronic Registration is also available for Panels & Workshops Events. The deadline for pre-registration is April 8 at 11:59 p.m.

Bimonthly magazine @domain will be making its debut at the Castle Point Anime Convention. @domain will use a format similar to those of Shonen Jump and Shojo Beat, and will feature original stories that have been inspired by the styles of eastern manga and western comic books. @domain may be purchased in the Artist's Alley for only $5. Comedian Uncle Yo will be performing at Castle Point Anime Convention. Uncle Yo performs material aimed at otaku, video gamers, Jedi, Trekkies, and fanboys and fangirls.

ABOUT CASTLE POINT ANIME CONVENTION: Castle Point Anime Convention is created and organized by the members of the Stevens Anime Club and will be held on April 13, 2008 on the campus of Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey.
