News for Animazement 2010:

Animazement announces special guest Kappei Yamaguchi

Animazement has announced that Kappei Yamaguchi will be a guest at this year's convention. Kappei Yamaguchi was born in Fukuoka, Japan. He is best known for voicing the title character roles of Ranma Saotome in "Ranma 1/2" and InuYasha in "InuYasha", L in "Death Note", Ryuichi Sakuma in "Gravitation", Jackson Neil in "Miracle Girls", Tombo in "Kiki's Delivery Service", Usopp in "One Piece", Hideyoshi in "Law of Ueki", and Kaito Kid and Shinichi Kudo in "Case Closed", among many others. His voice has appeared in various televised dramas, such as Artemis in "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon" (live action), and in commercials, such as his role playing the Red M&M. He is also prolific in the world of Japanese dubbing, lending his voice to a variety of roles, including the voice of South Park's Kyle Broflovski and Looney Tunes's Bugs Bunny.

Richard Ian Cox who shares a number of the same roles such as Ranma and InuYasha was announced as a guest earlier.

Animazement held in Raleigh, NC will take place during Memorial Day Weekend, May 28-30.
