Biography:
Dame Darcy is a cartoonist for 30 years plus. Published by DC, Marvel, Holt, Penguin, Feral House, Taschen, Random House and more . Her primary comic series being Meat Cake on Fantagraphics, which is currently in pre-production as a TV series. Since 1991, Darcy has been published over 100 times in multiple languages since the early 90's. And collaborated with greats such as Neil Gaiman, Alan Moore, Tori Amos and others. Dame Darcy's graphic novel compilation Meat Cake Bible, with over 450 pages of comics, is a Will Eisner award nominee at the San Diego Comic Con in 2017. Vegan Love, her graphic novel with Maya Gottfried on Simon & Schuster holds an Independent Publishing award since 2018. From 2012 - present She and her partner Pleasant have released Dame Darcy Mermaid Tarot, Queen Alice Tarot, and Witchy Cat Tarot featuring Dame Darcy style 'Meat Cake' comic art. Originating the now popular crossover of cartoon illustration into the oracle medium.
